Living Room
Vaulted cedar plank ceiling with exposed steel beams framing a panoramic view of Puget Sound. The homeowners wanted every room to feel connected to the water, and this living room delivers — floor-to-ceiling glass, a curved sectional that follows the room's geometry, and leather accent pieces that warm up the industrial structure.

Kitchen
The kitchen anchors the entire open plan. A dramatic marble island with warm oak paneling, black perimeter cabinetry with a penny tile backsplash running wall to wall, and brass pendant lights and fixtures throughout. The range is a brass-accented Lacanche — the homeowners sourced it from France. Every detail in this kitchen was deliberate.

Kitchen Island
The marble island seen from the seating side. The veining in the slab was book-matched — the same stone, cut sequentially, so the pattern mirrors across the waterfall edges. Black leather bar stools, brass pendants above, and the penny tile backsplash visible behind the range hood.

Kitchen Detail
Floor-to-ceiling oak paneled cabinetry with an integrated espresso station, panel-ready refrigerator, and a marble countertop that ties back to the island. Brass hardware throughout — pulls, hinges, faucet. The level of coordination between materials in this kitchen is what makes it feel cohesive rather than busy.

Dining Nook
A custom built-in banquette wrapping a corner of windows overlooking the Sound, with a freestanding wood-burning stove as the centerpiece. The dining table is a fluted pedestal in black, paired with sculptural chairs. This room is pure PNW — casual enough for coffee, finished enough for guests.

Open Plan
The open plan from the kitchen side, showing how the marble island, built-in vinyl/audio shelving, and living area all flow together. The vertical slat divider in the background separates the entry from the living space without closing it off. A grand piano sits tucked beside the record collection.

Master Bath
A spa-level master bath with dark terrazzo-look stone tile wrapping every surface — walls, floor, and tub surround. The freestanding soaker tub sits beneath a skylight, and the brass rain shower and handheld fixtures are mounted directly on the stone wall. This room feels like it was carved from a single block.

Powder Room
A statement powder room with black patterned tile from floor to ceiling — a crescent moon motif with metallic accents. Gold-rimmed mirror, brass faucet, globe sconce, and a compact dark vanity. Small space, huge impact. This is the kind of room guests talk about.

Master Bedroom
The master bedroom continues the cedar plank motif from the living room ceiling onto the accent wall behind the bed. Dark built-in cabinetry with brass hardware flanks one side, and a matte black pendant hangs at bedside. The warmth of the cedar against the dark tones creates a cocoon-like feel.

Room Divider
A custom vertical slat room divider separates the entry from the main living space. The slats filter light and create a sense of arrival without blocking the water view. Dark-stained to match the steel beams, with a planter and cabinetry built into the base. Functional architecture, not just decoration.

Entry
The entry sets the tone before you walk through the door. Dark board and batten siding, a teak deck, an oversized pendant, and a modern front door with horizontal glass panels. Potted plants and a copper basin add warmth. You know exactly what kind of home this is from the porch.

Deck
The waterfront deck with cable railing sits directly over Puget Sound. Teak lounge furniture, a side table for drinks, and nothing between you and the water. The deck framing and railing were built to disappear — the view is the point. This is what the entire remodel was designed around.
